New York, again..... hello New York! it's summer time and am loving it =) first stop, the Liberty Lady;
i have to take a boat from the city to the island. it was very windy and cold although it's summer. i didn't managed to get into the statue building cause u need to book it online, ONE week earlier. so take note whoever wants to go there. nothing special to me, BORING! i just cam-whored all the way. next day i went to Brooklyn Bridge and that was fun;
it's like a mini Great Wall of China but way better! cause u don't need to walk too far up, there's sun and wind. no sweaty armpit! then i dropped by SOHO to shop. new flagship TOPSHOP store is there, mind you 3-storey tall. am in love . this NYC trip, i didn't shop much, my damage was more on food, sight seeing and watch play. (ok i lied, tipu sunat) the 3rd day i went to watch play in NY Times Square, THE LION KING;
it was a last minute plan, the cheaper tickets were fully book till October. i only managed to get the orchestra seat at US$124. *faint* no regrets cause it is a must see show. the grand entrance and props was amazing. i was trying to keep myself awake to watch it, as my body clock cocked up d, 12hours diff than Msia ok! believe it or not, i watched play again;
MAMMA MIA! it was good but not as good as the movie though. i got it for a very reasonable price cause i queued at the TKTS counter for bloody 1hour and 30minutes under the hot sun! now am 3 times darker.. can u still see me? then the following day, i went to Niagara Falls;
it was a 8hour coach ride up and 8hours coach ride down to NYC. the last i checked, my legs are still moving. thank god. the goddammn coach's seats are very small and narrow!!! plus they were so many of us in the bus, 70% indian expats, imagine how talkative they are. i can't sleep peacefully... they are too good in English d and can join the story telling competition! urrggghh!!!! they think they know everything... one example, we checked into the hotel at 11pm and checked out at 6am.i know it's a short stay but then please be punctual as this is a tour group, not a private tour! the non-Indian people (please include me along cause i was punctual ok!) about 6 of us waited for the other 40 people to check out at 6,30am! bloody hell, that is 30minute late! so shameful to say that all of them are young and educated but ZERO discipline! shame on you! YOU THINK YOU PAY MY TOUR FEE IZZIT THAT I HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOU TO BE LATE?!!!!! arrrggghhh!!!!! am not being racist but sometimes they need to change their culture to be more sensitive toward others... can you guys please do that?? only Russell Peters can give them lessons! ok enough of them.. i wanna talk about the tour. i watched the day and night view of Niagara and even went close to the fall.. nice! the following day, i took a boat ride to Thousand Island. it was beautiful, in that island itself, there were so many tiny islands and house on it. you can even see mini castle in that island. awesome! 2 days 1 night tour, US$150 (include a safe cosy hotel room and entrance fees, food sendirian berhad!) last but not least, my middle name;
please pray for me to make more money next month, Amen... signing off, xxoo.. |
